Congrats to Dan Santat, whose Disney show The Replacements premiered last week and pulled in a huge rating.
I wonder how many of those millions of viewers realize that the creator of the Replacements was a floor hockey goaltending LEGEND at U.C.S.D.? How many show creators can say that they backstopped a triple-A intramural floor hockey team to the Patel Cup championship after having designed the jerseys for said floor hockey team?
Anyways, if you're not watching it, you should check it out - it's on Disney Channel and ABC Saturday Mornings. The show is hysterical - and the people working on it are awesome. And check out Dan's web site.

Hey rememebr wehen you scored on me on a breakaway during the double A intramural semifinals? Yeah, that scarred me for life and forever I was driven to make something of myself....If not that for that one moment I would be nothing and to you Euegene, I say.... "I'LL GET YOU!"
I don't remember that goal! I remember I was playing on Raj's team at the time, but I don't remember ever scoring on you.
Which is weird, because I remember most of the goals I've ever scored in floor hockey. They were so few and far between. I remember scoring on Vay, Mario, Josh, Los, Adler - but not you.
I do remember you doing your 'Jay Mohr-as-Christopher Walken selling Skittles' impersonation during games...
