NBA People, White People, and Annoying People
Still busy at work, but I had to get these thoughts out.
...It's still a few months away, but I'm getting excited at the idea of a Boston Celtics vs L.A. Lakers NBA Finals. Forget throwback jerseys - we're talking throwback childhood. Oh, it might not be the same without Bird vs Magic, but just seeing the purple and gold versus the green? Must see TV.
Of course, the NBA knows that a Boston vs L.A. Finals will be a huge ratings bonanza. The problem is at the moment, there're four great teams - Boston and Detroit in the East, L.A. and San Antonio in the West.
While we all want a Boston vs L.A. American Idol, I wouldn't be surprised if we get Detroit vs San Antonio. Ie, Quarterlife.
...Thought I'd share this link - Stuff White People Like
It's not just funny, it's educational. Who knew I was so white?
...Now let's talk about blogs.
[NOTE: For those of you who're looking to get a good if obvious zinger at my expense in the blog comments, I'm lobbing this one nice and easy over the plate for you. Swing away.]
A few weeks ago, I was talking with some friends, and the discussion turned to this person that they don't like... but they read their blog.
See, I thought I was the only one who did that. I admit it - there're a couple people who I don't like personally, but I just LOVE reading their blogs. There's just too much entertainment value in peering into the weird and warped mind of someone you don't get along with.
So I guess I'm curious. Other people out there - do you read the blogs of people you find annoying?
Besides me.

Read blogs of people I don't like? No.
Even the people I like rarely have anything worth saying.
Is it weird and warped that I can't think of anybody I currently associate with that I don't like? Oh wait, I have no day job. That would explain it. :)
Re: Stuff White People Like, that blog makes me cringe, it's so accurate. Except I still drink tap water.
Tap water? Dude... get a brita filter, some zima, anything but tap in LA... that chloriine will cook your bladder.
