No Business Like Show Business
Had a meeting over at Warner Animation today. Can't tell you anything about it on the blog, of course - but suffice to say, there's some AMAZING jaw-dropping stuff being done over there. I mean flat out WOW.
So living in Los Angeles, you get used to those yellow signs around town that direct crews to their tv and film shoots. I live near a street that's used all the time for tv and film shoots, so we occasionally get sent these notices about upcoming shoots. They're mostly just warning us not to panic if we see Kiefer Sutherland torturing terrorists or Andy Dick driving erratically. That sort of thing.
A few weeks ago, we got this hand-delivered to my house-
Awesome. I need to start watching My Name is Earl again. The description alone makes me want to watch. The fact you might see my house in the background is an added bonus. And I'm a big fan of people being dragged by picture cats.
I've got a ton of work to do, along with Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Colonization waiting to be played. More blogging when I get time.

So, there is actually life again over at Warner Bros.? That's good to hear. I am sooooooooo out of the loop at the moment as to what's happenin' around town, the curse of working at home.
Sounds like you live on a fun street. We just get vandals running up and down ours, breaking car windows and tearing screen doors off houses.
Happened last night... ugh. No damage here though.
What's with the vandals recently? We had one in our neighborhood, too. Didn't damage our house - but threw a beer bottle at our driveway.
A full beer bottle.
At 9am.
I'd like to think that some vandal was late for work, realized he couldn't drink it, and thought he'd leave it on my driveway to save for later...
I dunno what the deal is. I've lived in this neighborhood since '98 and there's never been any vandalism up until recently.
I blame the upcoming election, and global warming, and too much beef in my diet.
I'm now picturing the world's longest explosion, lasting 13 hours. That's one hell of an explosion...
Er, I meant 15 hours. I can't do math when I'm tired.
Or ever.
